Privacy Policy
This policy explains how C MASTERS INC, operating the BluWater platform under the Detail Masters brand, handles information used to provide and support detailing services.
Information you provide
We handle information you provide through BluWater, such as your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details, service and saved addresses, booking choices, appointment details, access notes, messages, photos, ratings, and support requests.
Addresses may be sent to Google Maps for address completion or geocoding so we can validate service locations and support scheduling. Saved addresses and verified coordinates may be retained with your account or booking.
When a technician confirms that they are en route, their browser may request a one-time foreground location permission. The current implementation does not run background location tracking or retain precise technician coordinates in job status history.
Payments and memberships
Stripe collects and processes payment credentials and recurring membership charges. BluWater receives and stores limited payment information such as Stripe customer, payment-method, intent, charge, invoice, subscription, and dispute identifiers; card brand, expiration details, and last four digits; payment status; and amounts. BluWater does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
We use payment and membership records to authorize deposits, collect balances, manage recurring plans, reconcile refunds and disputes, and present payment history.
Technical information and preferences
BluWater and its providers may process authentication cookies, local browser preferences, IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, diagnostic events, and application or security logs. We use this information to keep sessions working, remember preferences, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect the platform.
How we use and share information
We use information to create and secure accounts, schedule and provide requested services, process and reconcile payments, communicate about bookings, respond to support requests, measure service quality, and maintain the reliability and security of BluWater.
Role-based access limits platform visibility. Customers can access their account and bookings; assigned technicians receive information needed for their jobs; and authorized dispatch, office, administrative, or owner roles receive information needed to operate the applicable service location.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect users or the platform, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business. A successor may handle transferred information subject to applicable law and the notice in effect at the time of transfer.
Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication, database, realtime, and file storage; Stripe for payment and subscription processing; Google Maps for address completion and geocoding; Resend for email delivery; Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention; and Vercel for hosting and delivery. These providers process information under their own privacy notices and service terms as well as their agreements with us.
Communications and choices
Transactional email may include account verification, booking, service-status, payment, membership, security, and support messages. Promotional or re-engagement email, when sent, includes an unsubscribe method. You may opt out of promotional email, but account and service-related transactional messages may still be sent when needed.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain financial and operational records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect BluWater. Deletion requests may not cover information we must retain for these purposes, and backups or logs may be removed on their normal schedules.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
BluWater is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review the request.
Choices and requests
You can review or update certain account information in BluWater. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Contact us to make a request or ask a privacy question.
To protect accounts and other people, we may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a privacy request. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when records must be retained for security, fraud prevention, payment, dispute, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
